Welcome, Android 5.0, Lollipop

And just like that Google announced that Android 5.0 is called, Lollipop. That’s really no surprise, but there’s some fun new aspects to the Android 5.0/Nexus 6/Nexus 9 announcement, including Nexus Player.

Nexus Player looks like an interesting gaming and entertainment device.

I wasn’t too keen on the Nexus 9 — I prefer 10 inch tablets — but after seeing some of the specifications (64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor 2.3 GHz; 32 GB; 6700 mAh) I’m really liking the looks and options. The Nexus 9 is available for pre-order on October 17.

Finally, Nexus 6 is going to be available on all the major US carriers — AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Verizon — sometime in late October.

Now the only questions, which Nexus device do I want?
