Android 4.4 is designed to run smooth on a variety of devices, at least that’s according to Reto Meier. You can check out a semi-boring video on using Android KitKat that gives you a semi-broad overview of the development protocols.

Android 4.4

Here’s a list of some of the new features:

  1. NFC emulation
  2. Built-in printing capabilities
  3. Easily browse to documents, images and other files
  4. Low power sensor
  5. Screen recording
  6. Step detector
  7. Awesome image viewing functions
  8. Beefed-up notifications

You’ll actually probably only use a fraction of the features, but they all look sweet.
