Google Apps has been the go-to platform for handling my law firm’s email, contacts, documents, and calendar for better more than 4 years. I was an early adopter of the Google Apps program, and advocated its use long before the Office 365 commotion. I like Google Apps for Business since I can store and access my information from any location, including my phone.
While many people are satisfied with purely having their email, contacts, and calendar consolidated and accessible, a lot of users fail to realize that Google Apps really does have a platform of apps.
You’ll find your list of apps, and a link to the Google Apps Marketplace, at the bottom of your Google Apps Dashboard. To access your Google Apps Dashboard, click settings > manage domain from Gmail, Contacts, or Calendar.
You’ll find a variety of free and paid Apps inside the Marketplace.
These cloud-based apps function similar to desktop-based software, and install in a similar manner. Pick the best ones to fit your business needs, and get moving.
