While I love ASUS, I’m not too certain that its newest tablet, aimed at the low-cost consumer, is going to cut it.
Dubbed the MeMO, the Android tablet will run Android 4.1 and be priced to move at $149. However, it lacks the specs of other similarly-priced tablets, including the ASUS-made, Nexus 7.
I’m wondering how many people will consider this tablet when compared with the Nexus 7′s specs:
Priced $50 more, the Nexus 7 seems like the better deal to me. What I can see though is that ASUS is going to try to push the sub-$150 market and encourage manufacturers to do more with less.
So, ultimately, would you buy this tablet?
