Five Free Android Apps You Have to Try

I’m always looking for fun, innovative, or productive apps, that can help my life. If they’re useful and they’re free, they’re worth the price, and the only thing that beats one free item is two free things. Well, I’m giving a double dose plus one of two-for-the-price-of-free, and introducing five apps I think you have to try. Here you go, in no particular order:

1. RealCalc Scientific Calculator

Because you never know when you’re going to need to calculate a tangent, this is my preferred calculator for Android. While the built-in Android calculator is okay, it’s like driving a Mercury Tracer when compared with this free Ferrari.

2. Layar

Want a surreal “augmented reality?” Check out Layar. You’re able to view your city in a whole new light.

3. Color

If you’re not Futurelawyer, then you probably still have a Facebook account. If so, connect Color to Facebook for a real-time broadcast/social media experience.

4. Pinterest

When Pinterest first popped on Android, I was already a fan. I think, if used correctly, the program could be a great boost to any company’s marketing and social media campaign.

5. [WordHero]

I grew up playing Boggle with my family at the kitchen table. This recreates the same arena, except on the mass scale of the internet, allowing you to see just how good you really are. My top place: 8th. Want to challenge me? My username is JBTOKC.
