In what I hope is a slight modification to further develop and release Android 4.1 to the Asus’ Transformer brand tablet, I downloaded and installed the latest firmware release. This still isn’t Jelly Bean for the Transformer Infinity, but takes the device from 9.4.5.26 to 9.4.5.30.

I’m not exactly sure what’s being updated, though I did see that there are some camera components that got their boost. According to XDA, there’s also a bump in GPS capacity and finally adds face unlock.

Hopefully, we’ll see Android 4.1 on our Transformer Pad Infinity devices.

Seems more stable now than before with this update. All I need now is JB 🙂

    I hadn’t really noticed stability until I played some. You’re absolutely right.
