Stewart finally got a fix for my Asus Transformer Pad Infinity for his great app, Depose. We have been shooting at least 2 dozen emails, and even more tech-reports trying to get a solution. There don’t seem to be very many people affected by my bug, so most of you should be able to see how great this app is, right out of the gate.
If you’re not playing with Depose, why not? This is really the first truly remarkable Android app built and designed for attorneys.
You probably think, “it’s only for depositions, and I don’t do depositions.” Wrong! A local Oklahoma City attorney noted to me the same thing, then said, “but it might be a decent tool for trial.” Exactly!
My first thought, though I didn’t push this too hard in my original review, was that Depose could be a great tool for depositions and trials. Depose can easily handle direct and cross-examinations. The concepts are the same as a deposition, so they’re easy to recreate live.
So do yourself and Stewart a favor, purchase this app. Your depositions (and trials) will love you.
Now, lest anyone believe that I’m hyping this app so much because of some “kickback,” I’m not. In fact, even though Stewart gave me a pre-release copy, I purchased this app, twice (I expect a refund for the second time, Stewart). I have no stake in the success of this app, other than to show support to developers who dedicate time and resources to developing great apps, especially great Android apps for lawyers.
Now, time to prepare for a deposition…
