What Android Apps are Missing?

Courtesy bgr.com

My biggest complaint with Android OS is that there are few truly dedicated attorney-applications. I think this fundamental lack of apps is what makes iPad appealing to end-users. I’m confident that as time goes on more apps will appear, but somewhere in a dark spot in my mind lurks the feeling that “it’s not going to happen.”

What apps would you like to see?

Here’s my top 3:

  1. Jury Organizer app similar to iJuror
  2. Fastcase
  3. TrialPad (or similar)

So, what would you like to see?

Hi Jeffrey, we've just released a new subscription based web application called iJurorConnect.com. Now the capabilities of iJuror can be used from any computer with a web browser rather than just being restricted to the iPad. You can visit https://www.ijurorconnect.com for more information. The FAQ page also contains some great information: https://www.ijurorconnect.com/index.php/faq Thanks, Scott

I'd love to see iJuror for Android, but as to TrialPad, I think we could do better. A colleague of mine recently finished a trial in which she had shelled out for TrialPad in hopes of using it in her closing--but it turns out that the inability to record and play back actions ahead of time made it useless. Using trial pad was too much of a distraction when she mooted her closing in the office, and she ended up just using a powerpoint for the live presentation to the jury.

Thanks for the comment, Andrew. That's the first big criticism I've heard, but it's certainly huge. Interesting perspective/input too on the distraction element.

Hi Jeffrey, we're definitely keeping iJuror for Android in mind for the future. We've also got some other ideas coming up soon that will be useful for Android users. Thanks for holding iJuror in such high regard.
