Bad News Motorola Users, No ICS For You

Well, the news isn’t as harsh as the headline, but it’s still pretty disappointing, especially given the fact that Motorola Mobility and Google are bosom buddies.

The bad news, according to this post by Brad Reed of Network World, is that Android 4.0 isn’t coming to Motorola devices like my Droid Bionic until at least the second half of 2012, with the Droid 4, Droid Bionic, Razr, and Razr Maxx on the “unknown timetable list.”

Even though I just got my Droid Bionic, it might be time to consider a switch to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. If only it had a larger camera, sigh.

Here’s a list of the timetable. Just look at all of the upgraded devices Asian countries will receive:

Motorola devices that have Android 4.0
